I'm not hungry, I'm not tired. I don't know what I feel.
Everyone has worked in places that they've hated. I've been there as well. The thing is that this wasn't one of those places. I loved going there, and there were good people there too. It wasn't perfect, but damn close. I'm really going to miss everyone.
The thing that does suck is that odds are my August plan to go to London are on hold. I'm not sure if I can go at this point. I'm keeping all trip money for living expenses, at least until I know what's going on with my life. When the Unemployment starts coming in and things like that, or better yet. Getting a new job.
I've been getting a lot of well wishers from work too, mostly from Facebook. Apparently a lot of people were sadden by my departure, though I'm more sadden. They still have jobs. Well, I do still have the second job on the weekends. I could ask for more hours, but I'm not ready to do that just yet. Working in a Supermarket isn't the greatest thing in the world.
I've been updating my resume tonight, and the good news is that I seem to have more skills, to offer than the last time I was job hunting, so hopefully, I'll be able to snag something that much quicker.
I really don't have much else to say...excpet that, if somone has a good paying job for me, please let me know.

I GOT THE JOB!!!
I'm so pumped right now. I'm tempted to just walk about of here and go out and celebrate right now, but I can't. My moral compass won't let me, thought I am blogging from work.
I'll be going in on Tuesday for the former offer, and they said that I'll have a day or two to think about it, but screw that. I'll accept the offer right there. I want out of this place.
Oh, and after I've formally accepted the offer, expect a "why my current employer sucks" with the current employer replaced with the ACTUAL NAME.
I'm so happy right now. YES YES YES.

Shoot me now....no wait.
Here’s the deal. I might not have a job next week. Someone in head office decided that for the sake of the budget, I’m not needed anymore. However, management in
I also did some checking and discovered that the “golden handshake” is actually pretty sucky and not worth it, if I have a choice. This place is feeling more and more like a prison, and the hour commute (each way) doesn’t help.
So I’ve decided to (yes again) to do some job searching. I’ve also called the head hunter to see if she can come up with something.
Also, it’s stuff like this which pushes me to work harder on getting Space Station Anime into a money making operation. I still have plans, just not enough energy. Maybe it’s a medical thing? Maybe I should talk to a doctor about it.
I’m not feeling inspired today, but there is hope, I never give up.

The other job
The guy on the top of Quaker Oats products in an asshole. He just stands there, with that look on his face, calling me “boy”. If I’m ever in the same room with that guy; I’m going to beat the crap out of that guy, and then I’m going to crap in his hat. Watch out Quaker Oats guy, you’re going to be my bitch one day.
I’ve meet some really cranky old people, and their mostly male. Here’s my theory about cranky old people. They’re cranky because their too old for sex, and they’re really pissed off about it.
Also I’ve discovered that 99% of women, who are under the age of 30 in Calgary have at least one pair of “Hooker boots”. Don’t ask me how I know. I just know.
I now know where the Yorkshire Sauce is (I think it’s Yorkshire) located. A few days ago I didn’t even know what the stuff was.
There’s this woman who does some of the commercials on the store Muzac system. She has this “mom” voice, but the problem is that she’s talking to me specifically and she’s telling me that she’s been a bad girl and needs a good spanking. Now she’s really making me feel uncomfortable, so such so, if she doesn’t stop it, I’m going to complain about sexual harassment.
Despite that these guys are underpaid, they’re a great bunch, and I really don’t mind spending part of my weekend with them. My only concern right now is that one day, I'm going to come home from work, and the "spank me" lady is going to be waiting for me in my bedroom, wearing some outfit, that would include lots of leather and a large paddle

More of the Yadda Yadda
Holy Crap. This blog has turned into a “Dear Diary” thing as of late, but since things are going on my life, I guess I’m blogging about that. I’m found another potential apartment and I’ve submitted an application. This place also has a pool and a workout room and it’s in a real high rise. The apartment is on the 28th floor. The view isn’t bad but it’s not as good as the units facing east. They have a nice view of the Stampede grounds and when it’s clear, the mountains.
On the other front…I have a job interview on Thursday. The only issue I have is the place is in the northern part of the city. Close to the airport. I wanted to find a job downtown, but considering that I only started sending out my resume on Sunday and I’m already getting calls, I believe this to be a good sign. It’s a call centre job but if they want to pay the money I want, then I might consider it. I originally wanted to wait until AFTER the move to start the job hunt but after freaking out again on Friday, I felt that I had to do something, thus I put my resume on Monster.ca and then BOOM, I got a hit. We shall see what happens next.
I have all these ideas for a post but nothing is appearing on the screen. I blame the uncertainty in my life right now. I just want closure and until I have some sort of closure on the move, then I’ll feel better. The job thing isn’t a big issue. My current job isn’t in jeopardy, but I do have to move. I’m just glad that the landlord gave me a month’s extension or else I would be REALLY screwed. I’m hoping for a positive phone call tomorrow so I can put everything else behind me and bitch and moan about loosing my satellite dish.
Yes, that’s the one drawback, I will be loosing my dish because I won’t be able to put it up and since I really hate the cable in this city, I’m going to live sans regular TV and download everything I watch instead. I have a plan but I don’t want to reveal anything until I actually do it. It does involve a new TV and a trip to Ikea.
This is another advantage to this move. I get to redecorate. I’ve been to Ikea and I already made a list of the new items that I will buy. I’m just waiting until I know my move in date so I can go in, pay for the stuff and arrange delivery.
I guess I’m going to have to take photos of the new place.
