Anyway I was flipping through the survey and I was checking out my options. Let’s see, better health care? That’s important. Better education system. That’s good too. City growth, protect the environment, support to people who need it. All good and noble choices but what’s this? Provide a refund to every Albertan? SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!!!!
In all fairness, you rate all the options from one to ten so you can show what is important so no one is committed to one choice but ya gotta admit, that refund check sounds pretty darn good. I hear that they do that in Alaska and getting a big cheque from the government would be nice and giving money to people so they can spend it does stimulate the economy and a portion of that would go to taxes so the government would get some of that back.
Some critics say that the refund option is just a ploy in order for Mr., Klein to get reelected for another term and guess what. It will work. Some say that he’s just buying votes and guess what. He bought mine.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not just a greedy bastard who only things about money. Ok I am a greedy bastard that thinks about money but I do look at other things as well. It would be nice to see more funding go to education and health care and other important areas but that doesn’t mean I can have a piece of the cake for myself as well, doesn’t it?

First things first, I am not a conservative or a liberal. I am an individual and I have my opinions about different things. I do not simply agree with something simply because one group of people believes that. While a lot of my beliefs are conservative, this does not mean that I carry all the beliefs that a conservative does. I basically believe in the individual. My right to enjoy the fruits of my success without the government taking a larger portion of my tax dollars. Liberals love to raise taxes for so called social programs. At the same time I also believe that gays and lesbians should have the right to marry if they love each other. This is more of a left wing thought but it still fits into my belief of the rights of the individual first. So do not start throwing labels at me because I have beliefs from both wings. So I guess that makes me a fiscal conservative with liberal social ideas or simply just ME !!!
Anyway about Michael Moore, Is it just me of is he the biggest piece of crap out there? I mean, really he’s more interested forcing is opinion on others listening to others. I honestly hate this type more than anything else in the world. He is so sure that he is right that he refuses to admit that there is a possibility that he is even wrong. I love how he tried to ambush people into interviews but when a camera is aimed at him, that he doesn’t control, he acts like he doesn’t see it. The blowhard.
Now apparently Fahrenheit 9/11 is one of the biggest grossing documentaries ever released, though I refuse to see if. Actually that not totally correct, I willing to watch it but I refuse to pay money to see it. I don’t want a single cent of my money to go to this windbag.
Now there is a documentary out there that I do want to see and its called Michael Moore hates America. Now honestly don’t believe that he does but you have to wonder what the hell goes through this nut jobs head. Now this is a documentary checking out.
Now some people may say that I just despise the left but that is not true. I respect Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, as well as Paul Martin. It’s possible to disagree with some of people’s views while still respecting them. I remember one of Pierre Trudeau’s sons talking about this aspect of his father during his funeral He also respected people with different beliefs than himself. In addition, I disagree with George. W. Bush’s views on same sex marriage, stem cell research and cloning research. This doesn’t mean I don’t respect his or Stephen Harper but Michael Moore is just pathetic. I feel he has the morals of vulture. He is so concerned about getting his movie out that he would work with distributors who are connected with Hamas. Now they are terrorists. These are the people who send suicide bombers onto buses to blow them up, and this is the group of people that Michael Moore wants to associate with. Do us all a favor Michael and put on one of the explosive vests and blow yourself up, so we don’t have to hear you shoot your mouth off anymore.

Back when I was a kid, I remember exploring my friend’s garages and sometimes I would find a lawn dart set. The concept was easy enough, throw the dart into the air and it would land on the ground. However we got bored with that concept rather quickly. Instead, we would throw it into the air, right over us and run like hell. This always seemed like fun to us. Running from the possibility of this heavy metal dart would hand on our heads and pierce our skulls. (Don't tell me no one else ever tried that.)
Today, all toys are tested to be absolutely safe now. Is it just me but is this going to result in a generation of wimps? How are today's children going to overcome future obstacles if they can't handle a little pain? Children wear bike helmets now, to protect themselves. At what point are all kids going to turn into bubble boys, protected from all dangers from the outside world.
As a result, a lot of these "Protected" kids are getting out of hand. Children swearing to parents and the parents can't discipline them because it would be considered abuse, and from what I've seen, some of these kids need to have the shit kicked out of them. They need to experience fear. I saw some twelve year old swearing at his mother and she did nothing. If anyone is living in fear, it’s the parents; fear of being arrested because they're trying to discipline their children.
These kids grow up never knowing discipline because of this. Now if it were up to me, I'd rather see my child hurt themselves a bit as children or grow up and get hurt a lot in jail.

I swear that I’m not making this up. I just read this at cnn.com. Here’s the link. Anyway in the October’s issue of Playboy, they are featuring virtual women, videogame characters. Come on people, have we gotten to the point where we prefer CGI women to real thing now? This is leading to someplace dangerous. I can picture it. In the future, guys will be dating their computers and as a result, only the really dumb people will be reproducing. Actually this fits into my “Someone has been peeing in the gene pool” theory.
Then again, at least these women would come with an instruction manual and “fine” would actually mean fine as opposed to the word women use to end an argument when they feel they are right and you need to shut up. MMM maybe I’m looking at this the wrong way.

Anyway to make a long story short (too late) I’m happy that Leo is back and on the first week of shows they talked about a site called Blooger.com. Now you must know what Blogger is if you’re here. Anyway this site would not exist if it wasn’t for Leo Laporte and I just wanted to say thank you Mr. Laporte and now everyone will have to hear my rants. My 2 bits
As you might have figured out by now, I do not have Olympic fever. Now I know it’s suppose to be that big event the whole world watches but I really don’t care. I never liked any track and field events, or gymnastics or most of the other sports they have in the games. To me those single person events seem rather boring. Don’t get me wrong, I know these people train really hard but in the 21st century with hundreds of channels and the internet, there is so much more to see. Do I watch some guy run and jump or watch “Most Extreme Elimination” on another channel? Sorry but the choice seems clear to me; its time to watch Spike TV.
